Photo treasure hunt I’ve created for year 9 students learning from home, to revisit basic language by finding different things, taking a photo of them (and uploading them into the document) and writing a short sentence describing them. Inspired in the topics from Mira 1 - 3 textbooks. Meant to be done within 2 periods, but obviously this is flexible. 26 things to find in total 13 things to find - using easy/simple sentences. 13 things to find - using a bit more elaborate sentences (i.e. giving reasons, opinions…)

A lesson based on the Mira 3 textbook (rojo), unit 5 ‘Hispanoamerica’. Please note that this bundle includes ONLY sub-units 5.1 “El mundo Hispano", 5.2 “Mi vida diaria” and 5.3 “El medio ambiente” as I never get to teach the other 2 topics. It includes a number of extra worksheets (grammar and reading comp.) that I created to extend the most able and for revision purposes.

A worksheet with a compilation of high frequency phrases in Spanish containing very common mistakes made by English speakers. These errors include: grammar, spelling, word order, gender and number agreements and omitted words. I devised this sheet to raise awareness among my students, with the objective that they won’t make these mistakes in their GCSE exam!! Answers included, at the end of the document. It should keep them busy for some time!
